Preservation Access Program
BAVC offers reduced rates on video and audio preservation services to artists and small- to mid-sized arts and cultural heritage organizations with a generous grant from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA). The deadline for the next round of PAP is forthcoming, and will likely be in the late summer of 2017! Questions can be answered by calling 415-558-2131 or by emailing preservation-at-bavc.org.
The Cost Model for Digital Preservation (CDMP) is a tool that calculates the present and future costs of three sets of activities associated with preservation of digital collections. Incorporating user inputs such as the amount and type of data, the Model addresses expenses incurred by Ingest, Archival Storage, Administration, and Preservation Planning activities from the Open Archival Information System (OAIS) Reference Model.

Program for the Preservation of Classical Music Historical Recordings (ARSC)
Encourages and supports the preservation of historically significant sound recordings of music in the Western Art Music tradition, by individuals and organization
